25 years ago, the United States government made a decision to change the world. They decided that with common distractions the scientists and doctors of the world would never do anything to help the world. So they decided to eliminate outside forces by taking the best of the best around the world and lock them away in their own town.

It took 23 years to work around laws and find the best, but the US finally managed it. They assembled a cast of geniuses and their families and locked them away in 'The Guarded City' to research.

But two years later, everything isn't what it seems. Not everybody is who they say they are. There are traitors among the scientists and doctors who wish to use what was researched against the world. The families aren't sure who to trust. The teenagers are involved in their own drama while their parents try to work everything out. Is the 'Guarded City' really that guarded?
